If You Aren't Going to Be Consistent, Stop Your Whining

You have started, stopped, started, paused, restarted, and stopped again. Not because you don't care.

Have you ever found yourself saying something like this:

"After I LEARN more about X, I will do Y..." "After this task/goal is accomplished, I will have more time to do..." "When I become more successful at X, I will do Y..." "After this current problem is solved, I will take action on..."

Today's "Notes for the Next Chapter" was written in 2018, at a conference learning about consistency as an entrepreneur. And apparently, 2018 Renee Funk needed the reminder.

If you aren't going to be consistent, stop your whining

Over the years I have experienced people frustrated with results not given enough consistency to earn. And I TOO have been in a season of inconsistency while considering a new launch. Starting. Stopping. Reworking. Reconsidering. Waiting to be "more prepared". Convincing myself that after "this one thing is finished", THEN I would finally be able to implement consistently.

The uncomfortable truth? I was afraid. Afraid to build and not succeed. I have built a successful business before, but what if I try something new and FAIL in front of others?

Willing to be a beginner again

Starting (and staying consistent) at something new REQUIRES WILLINGNESS to BECOME A BEGINNER AGAIN. To be seen standing at a new start line, WHILE you figure it out.
