Leadership from the Heart

Renee Funk and Elizabeth Riley share conversations with leaders who inspire and uplift.

The origin

Born in quarantine.

In 2020, as the world shut down, Renee Funk and Elizabeth Riley picked up the phone and started calling leaders they admired. The premise was simple. How do you lead when the ground keeps moving?

What began as a way to stay connected during quarantine became a library of conversations on leadership through adversity, agility, and overcoming the obstacles that test character. Some guests came from real estate. Most did not. The throughline was leadership itself, not industry.

Years on, the recordings still hold up. The lessons were never about a moment in time. They were about how good leaders show up when it would be easier not to.
